I've finally found a job that's almost as satisfying as singing. I started working as a production assistant a few weeks ago for a promo for Soapnet. My boyfriend was kind enough to get me the gig and I have to say this might be the path for me (in terms of getting my music out there.)
I've already met a few big wigs but as of right now I'm planning on staying low and working hard until the appropriate time comes.
The best part of this job is I'll be able to have more time to work on my music. I just wrapped the Soapnet job a few days ago and I'm already on hold for a Lifetime promo around mid July.
It's crazy that I'm making more in 2 weeks of work than I used to in a month at my last 9 to 5. This will undoubtedly raise my music up to a new level now that I'll be able to invest more in it.
