short bio: Denisse Takes (formerly Denisse Sangiovanni) is an Italian/Dominican singer/songwriter born in Dominican Republic and raised in the highly cultural domains of Miami, Florida. Her style
is Folk Rock, and her lyrics contain a level of
maturity and enlightenment that many songs
in this day lack. Completely self taught,
Denisse started playing guitar at the age of
16, and to this day she continues breaking
the boundaries of language through sound.
